Starts at:Tue 19 Feb 2019, 15:30
Speaker:Huirong YanInstitute:University of Potsdam, DESY

Abstract:Turbulence is ubiquitous in astrophysical environments. Substantial progress has been made in understanding of magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) turbulence during the past decades. I will depict the current picture of MHD turbulence including our newest findings from both theoretical and observational point of view, followed by a discussion of its various astrophysical implications on CRs and GRBs.
