From lambda phi^4 in dS to how inflation starts out of inhomogenous initial conditions |
Starts at: | Thu 21 May 2020, 17:00 | ||
Speaker: | Leonardo Senatore | Institute: | Stanford University |
Abstract: | I will first describe how we develop a systematic formalism to compute correlation functions of massless scalar fields in de Sitter space. Time permitting, I will then show how, using a combination of numerical techniques as well as techniques from differential geometry, we are shedding light on how inflation starts out of inhomogenous initial conditions.
